Magnolia Moments Wellness Spa Grand Opening

May 30, 2008

Do you want to feel tranquil? Are you wondering why you
can’t heal? Is stress catching up with you? Do you have
questions on healing within your soul? Do you want to
reinvent your soul’s purpose? Are you ready to be
empowered to tap into your self-healing? Would you like to
experience reflexology, a massage, a facial or an ionic
foot bath? Couples—are you ready to get away for a few
hours and renew your spirits together? If you can say yes
to any of these questions, Magnolia Moments Wellness Spa is
the ultimate Spa in Douglas County for you!

Owner Patty Wenck would like to extend an invitation to the
public to experience the serenity of the South at Magnolia
Moments Wellness Spa. For its Grand Opening, the Spa is
offering a complimentary retreat and soul revival on July
11-13, 2008. The doors of this historic home will be opened
for you to enjoy, feel and taste holistic health and
authentic beauty, from the inside out! Patty’s mission is
“To create a customized pampering and healing experience,
with a thoughtful staff, utilizing state of the art
equipment. The staff's focus is you — our special guest.”

Located in the heart of downtown Douglasville, at 6585
Spring St., (404) 234-7421, the Spa is right across from
the Post Office. You can’t miss the large magnolia tree in
the back yard. A quiet, reflective, meditative space has
been designed, so that all who enter experience a calming
of their inner soul in a sea of serenity and peace. Soft
candlelight and soothing music will remove all tension from
your being. The healing will start the moment you enter the
Spa. You will feel it to be a total integration of body,
mind, spirit and soul!

Here’s what is being offered for the Grand Opening:

Friday, July 11
10:00 am – 7:00 pm: Open house, including free mini
services.

Saturday, July 12
10:00 am: Free mini services rendered.

1:00 - 2:30 pm: A special holistic presentation from Dr.
Shirlene Holmes. A 20-year Professor at Georgia State
University, Dr. Holmes’ background is in education,
theater, playwriting and drama. She has been an ordained
Metaphysical Minister for nine years. This courageous woman
has battled and triumphed over five bouts with the disease
cancer during her fifty years. Dr. Holmes will be sharing
tools with the audience on the topic of Tapping
Self-Healing Power: A Personal Journey, based on her
insightful personal testimony. Having looked into
traditional and non-traditional healing methods, her goal
is to share and inspire others to tap into the self-healing
powers within their own soul. Her message is that God has
empowered each of us to meet challenges—spiritually,
emotionally, physically and mentally. Dr. Holmes refers to
Louise Hay’s book, "You can Heal Your Life". “We have the
power within all of us to become balanced and do the
‘impossible’,” Dr. Holmes asserts. She will also have an
audio book presentation for sale for those who want to
listen to more. Do you understand that you can heal your
soul?

Sunday, July 13
1:00 - 2:30 pm: To end the celebration of wellness, Author
and Lifestyle Coach Carol S. Batey will instruct, inspire
and empower all who want to reinvent their lives. Carol
recently went through a personal transformation. Her
workshop will help you discover your soul’s purpose. She
gives insights into her spiritual journey for reinventing
herself, which began as she remembered her childhood
destiny. You can gain motivation from her in designing your
own exercise regimen and reaching your personal fitness
goals. This Lifestyle Coach lost 43 pounds of negative
baggage and emotions! Are you ready for a personal
transformation in your life? Carol’s new book, "In Due
