Prosperity is Your Destiny January 2009 Namaste’! I know that you had a wonderful celebration of the birth and life of Christ who indwells within your soul.
Happy New Year! It’s a new year and a new beginning. It is time for you to set
goals and to claim your prosperity, abundance, health, happiness, and most of all, your divine success. It is your season: step into it! Let’s get a clear understanding what prosperity means: Webster defines it as “to have wealth; success;
economic well-being. Prosperous is to be successful; flourishing; wealthy.” And Webster defines the word prosper
means “to thrive; flourish.” Let’s embrace all aspects of prosperity. “Therefore for optimum success, prosperity etc. in the broadest sense, it is necessary to

http://www.dooy.salford.ac.uk/shalom.html) AFFIRMATION When I awaken, I say an affirmation. Before I get out bed, I see myself aligned with a white light, the Spirit of God, and I am connected to that
Light; then, I say, “I am prosperous; I have abundance; I have health; I am happy, and I am successful in my life, world and affairs! I intentionally choose,
receive, and give thanks for all these things! The choice is mine alone. So it is! Amen.
You are welcomed and encouraged to adopt the above affirmation and to add changes to it that fit your life. Abundance is to have plenty. Prosperity starts with a mind-set--you thinking and knowing that you are in a field of prosperity! Can you answer these questions for Letting Go of the Old Mind-Set of Lack and Limitations? *Why am I suffering? *Can I live a rich life? *How can I improve my mind-set and move closer into my destiny? *Can I make more money in a low-economy? We must not focus on lack and limitation in life. These are heavy baggages that are just too heavy to carry around.
Our focus for 2009 should be that our baggages are light because we practice the tools of abundance and prosperity with a new mind-set. Thoughts are
things; those things that you create can be heavy or light. Let’s together focus on the lighter things we want to attract like love, joy, happiness, peace,
success, health and wealth. The Game of Life The author of The Game of Life and How to Play It, Florence Scovel Shinn, could not find a publisher, so she ended up
self-publishing the book herself in 1925. She is known as an important American spiritual teacher; she wrote Your Word
Is Your Wand and The Secret Door to Success. As Shinn write about the Law of Prosperity, she says, “Throughout the scriptures, it is taught that God is man’s supply and that man can release, through his spoken word; this is his or
her birthright.” One must believe in the spoken word and have faith. In the Bible, Isaiah says, “My word shall not return unto me void (empty), but shall accomplish that where unto it is sent
(wherever it goes). “ Let me give you an example of the “spoken word;” it’s the end of the month, time for rent again.
I see myself signing the check for the rent by the power of the mighty act of supply. I envision myself: I write the check.
Within one day following this visualization, the money comes in: I was able to put it into the bank! Thanks to God who is my Supplier! A friend of mine gave me this money treatment created by Raymond Charles Barker.
Can you read this for seven consecutive days? Barker says, “Look for results within two weeks. Pay your
tithes; pass a copy to someone who would appreciate it. Tell the person your experience.” Unexpected Money AFFIRMATION I, now subconsciously, accept this treatment.
There is only creative cause, GOD. There is only one mind, GOD. There is only one life, GOD.
There is only one substance, GOD: that which stands under. This present universe is the glory of God.
It is the moving, flexible, fluidic (flowing) creation. It is alive with the life, the abundance, and the richness of God.
I abide in prosperity. Mind created me in order that it might act through me; therefore, I am receptive to its circulation in my life in the form
of money. Money is God’s idea of circulation in my world of finance. I accept this idea completely.
I appreciate this idea. I like it. Money, being God in action, is absolute good.
It is wholesome. It is a blessing to man, and I am now prospered with it. I have no fear of lack,
for I believe that I have access to plenty of money. It is God’s activity in my world. It is God’s activity
in my bank account. It is God’s activity into everything to which I lay my hands. This money is flowing.
This money is free. I do not attempt to lock it up. I do not put a fence around it.
It is God’s money. I let it flow I. I let it flow out, and as I release it, I know that it comes back to me in good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, and running over. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. I am now free in money, and I
rejoice in it. I appreciate it. I thank God for it. I
have money forever more. So be it. My testimony The, Rev. Alice J. Brown, Senior Pastor of
The Living Truth Center in East Cleveland, Ohio, gave me the treatment on Unexpected Money at Thanksgiving. You may be asking what a Treatment is.
