too low and we reach it.” Michelangelo (1475-1564) How are your thoughts and actions for shaping your world, life and affairs? Where is your aim for the beginning of this year, 2009? What are your thoughts regarding your destiny?
Are your thoughts either at a stopping point or moving towards a clear direction? What do you want to create? How do you want your life or business to
manifest itself, in the next month? “Destiny is the power that is believed to determine the course of events”.
Speaking on destiny, Ernest Holmes, the writer of The Science of Mind book describes this concept as “the result of what a man/woman thinks”. Creating Your Destiny First and foremost, start with
your thoughts, intentions and desires then turn them into commitments. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the
words Intention means, “doing something…designed for a purpose”. It means to design “A Plan to Act”. For
example I would like to own home, apartment, by September 20, 2009. I am willing to save X amount of dollars to go toward my new purchase.
Affirm: I can do this plan! I am empowered! If you have intentions can you see or visualize them? Visualization is the power to see with your mind’s eye what is not seen physically. Can you see the house? How many rooms? If you can see it, then you will believe it! Ernest Homes admonishes, “Everything which we see, touch, feel,
hear, or sense with the physical senses is an effect”. Therefore give yourself permission to dream-and dream big!
Don’t put limits on God and yourself. That’s called “Empowerment”, meaning: “to give power.” Can you start today giving yourself permission to utilize your God-given talents and abilities to create your divine mission? Exercise Can you sit quietly talking to no one but you and your God? How do you start you day?
In the center of your own soul choose what you want to become or to accomplish. The silence knows that it is now done. The manifestation will show up
in the outer realm, which started in silence. Imagine yourself to be what you want to be. See only what you
desire, refuse even to think otherwise. Stick to it; never doubt! Say your goals many times daily, “I am that thing; Realized what this means. It means the great Universal Power of Mind is that and it cannot fail. The information presented here was taken from author Ernest Holmes and assimilated with my ideas. Creative Mind and Success author Holmes on (p.32) Take 10 minutes out of your busy day to meditate on; what you want to manifest that is not there- YET! Close
your eyes and open your mind’s eye into your soul and see it! Manifesting means making something that’s not there
yet, happen in your own mind! It also is claims Holmes, “to show forth or make evident.” Do you understand? As you give yourself permission to dream, can you tap into your spiritual powers of imagination? Next, see
(with your mind’s eye) exactly what you want to achieve. Be very clear about your intentions, desires and creations.
Know what kind of creation you want to create. If it is money, how much and what will you do to earn the money? Write your intentions down on a paper. Read and affirm it aloud morning and
night. Put “A Plan in Place” to work on your desires or intentions. Exercise your faith and imagination in the Unity movement way.
Co-founder Charles Fillmore, created the following affirmation, “Though the creative power of imagination, God’s resources is mine to use.” See the
color light blue located in between the eyes for activation. Then, I am asking you to give thanks for it already has been done.
For, its creation, when you spoke it aloud. Now say, “Let it be so!” Give up the “how” and “when” of your manifestation. That’s not your job!
Your job is to hold the intended space for what you desire to occur in your life, world and affairs. You can do it! Can you commit 10 minutes a day visualizing your intention and trust enough to believe that what you want will show up? What do you think? You must trust yourself –in communion with the universal God, and believe that what you want, or what you can be or do, will happen in divine order; in God’s timing.
After you have done your work alone, with just you and your Sacred Source, share your intentions with one-other trusted person.
