Batey, are the title, three subtitles, one brief review of the book, a reference to Batey's other book, and a descriptive title of the author. Recognizing herself as a "Lifestyle Coach", Batey's other book, Parents Are Lifesavers, is also referenced.

Embarking on her own "transformation" just prior to her fiftieth birthday. Batey is saying essentially, "I did it, and if I could do it, so can you.  Here's how I did it, and I believe that you can benefit from my insights and experiences".  Her other power words include "fortitude" and resilience".  It would be a job with a famous modeling agency that would uproot Carol Batey from Nashville and bring her to Carroll County.
