was the special guest at the Women’s Resource Center’s Girl’s Night Out May event. 
We
offered complementary chair massages with Stephanie and electro acupuncture with Dr Dowe.
Nancy and Susan were on hand offering free skin analysis with the Dermalogica Skin scanner machine.
Every
guest received a goodie bag filled with Dermalogica samples, nail products from Carol and spa coupons! Of course, gift certificates for free facials,
massages, and nail services were given away to numerous lucky attendees.

Small Business of the Year Awards

won the Small Business of the Year in 2004 and this year Doug and Nancy Dowe were presenters at the awards ceremony held at the Bradenton Auditorium.

Walmart Women’s Health Fair

June 21st the SpaRenity staff was on hand for this community Women’s health fair held at Walmart on SR 70 in Bradenton.
They
had chair massages, skin scanning/analysis, permanent makeup demonstrations, and complimentary acupuncture available.
Many
lucky locals won spa giveaways and everyone who visited the SpaRenity booth left with a smile on their face and a gift bag in their hand!
Quigong Seminar
June 27-30, 2008
At
the end of June SpaRenity's owners, Nancy and Doug Dowe along with a few friends and SpaRenity staff members attended a QiGong workshop in Orlando.
During
the 4 day workshop they learned more than they thought possible. QiGong changed their way of thinking and their lives for the better. Dr Dowe is now training to be certified in QiGong.

SpaRenity and Dr Dowe were sponsors in the Annual Summer Meltdown Contest this year beginning in June.
Dr
Dowe along with Anne Phillips of Energtx started this competition last year to help motivate and inspire people to lose weight, be healthy, and feel better about themselves.
All
contestants received a consultation/treatment with Dr Dowe, Dr Dowe’s AcuSlimm Weightloss Kit, a personal training session with Anne Phillips, and many other perks!
They
also had two free health fairs and fundraisers for St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital!
The winner of this years contest was Nancy Hall who lost 2.6% body fat! Nancy received a free European
Facial with Nancy Dowe and Synergie Anti-Cellulite Massage with Dr Dowe. She also received a free beach photo shoot and 8X10 from Nicole at Beagle Dog Productions along with many other gifts. Congrats Nancy!

SpaRenity held
a Open House just for clinical skin care treatments & demonstrations on Sept 23rd.
We
had a wonderful turn out of 40 new, as well as familiar faces, who shared an evening with us on the first full day of fall. Everyone who attended received a gift bag filled with samples and coupons including
Jane Iredale lipstick, Dermalogica sunscreen, VytonOrganics cucumber bodysilk, SpaRenity candles, brushes, and pens, and coupons for $25 off any clinical skin care service discussed. Demonstrations included
Microdermabrasion and Derma-Planing by Nancy and Ear Candling by Shantell. Susan talked about Chemical and Glycolic Peels and Permanent Makeup. Clint Heger of Dermalogica and Todd Bradshaw of VytonOrganics
were our special guest speakers. Louise of MS Designs Jewelry and Accessories was on hand with displays of her unique purses and jewelry.
All guests received a door prize including gift certificates for LED light treatments ($75 value) and Derma-Planning with Nancy
Dowe ($90 value), a 2 night hotel stay at Comfort Suites in Sarasota, and Dermalogica Age Smart, Daylight Defense, and Shave products. We had three grand prize giveaways:
